Changed Address?

Please update the practice if you have changed address or telephone number - it is vital that we have correct contact details.  Please select the Online Services from our Quick Links menu on the right. You must live within our practice area to remain registered with us - look at the practice area map in the New Patients tab to check where you live.

Car Park

The University has introduced Pay & Display around our car park at the back of the surgery. Patients attending the surgery for 90 minutes or less can park without charge in the car park area closest to the surgery.

Named Doctor

All patients have a named doctor and you will be informed who that is when you register for the first time. However we have an "open list policy" which means you are welcome to see whichever doctor you choose but we would strongly advise trying to see a consistent doctor, especially for long term health conditions. Please see here for more information.

We have had our Care Quality Commission visit - see their  report on our services.

The Buildingfrontaspect.jpg

Our building is spacious with excellent facilities for staff and patients - including ample car parking and easy bus and train links and is within easy reach of the centre of campus.

The building is light and airy, with a central courtyard, and was designed to fit in with the surrounding buildings in the Edgbaston conservation area.

Facilities include:

  • Spacious reception with auto-check in facility and interview room.
  • Large main and smaller sub-waiting areas.
  • 18 spacious consulting rooms.
  • Dedicated Minor Surgery suite. reception
  • Rooms for other health care providers and meeting rooms and library.
  • Baby change room.
  • A 30 space car park immediately adjacent to the practice.

Facilities for the disabled

Disabled people will find our facilities to be easy to access - there are no steps or ramps, an induction loop for hearing aids is located throughout the reception and a lift is available for the first floor. At present, virtually all are services are on the ground floor. A dedicated disabled toilet is within the reception area.

Car Park

The car park is accessed off Pritchatts road by driving down the entrance to the University residences of Lucas House and Pritchatts Park, along the turning pictured below off prichatts road. This is about 25m from the surgery, towards campus

The car park is exempt from University parking charges at the present time. Patients are permitted to park for 90 minutes free of parking charges before becoming liable for a fine. There are 2 disabled only parking spaces at the front of the building, (access directly from Pritchatts Rd). Please do not enter here to drop people off as turning round is very tight, and ambulances may need emergency access. There are also 2 disabled parking spaces in the rear car park.
